Edwin S. Bandur

Edwin S. Bandur, 75, of DuQuoin, passed away at 7:24 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2000 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in DuQuoin.
Edwin was a retired freight truck driver.  He was a US Army veteran of WW II.
He was born December 28, 1924 at Chicago, the son of Stanley and Antonina (Swecz) Bandur.
He is survived by one daughter, Darlene Fisher and husband Harmon (Ray) of DuQuoin; one son, Michael Bandur and wife Lujean of DuQuoin; three brothers, one sister, eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Funeral services were Wednesday, April 5, 2000 at 2 p.m. at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin with Rev. Shaw DeMent officiating.
Friends were able to call from 1 until 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin.
Interment was in the Sunset Memorial Park at DuQuoin.
Military graveside rites were conducted by the DuQuoin VFW Post 513.
